The Parish Council has organised with the help of other bodies the provision of a defibrillator in the village. It is situated in an unlocked cabinet by the entrance to the village hall. Whilst hoping it will never have to be used its presence may one day save a life. The Parish Council is organising training in its use for a number of organisations but if you have an emergency do not be afraid to use it. It will not let you do any harm and it talks to you to tell you what to do.
In making its provision the Parish Council would like to thank the British Heart Foundation who grant aided the purchase of the defibrillator. We would also like to thank the local charity which has sponsored the whole initiative and finally a very great thank you to Graham Lancaster of Lancaster Electrical Contracting who organised the placement and electrical connection for the cabinet at no cost to the Council.
